MY STORY
For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about nutrition and health. But for many years, I was also passionate about wine! Living in NYC for many years, I was burnt out from living a high-intensity, high-alcohol, fast-paced lifestyle.
When I embarked on my own alcohol-free journey in 2021, I found the science around alcohol's impact to the body systems (like the brain, the gut, and hormones) to be an uncovered tool to support my clients. This led to my launch of the Functional Sobriety approach, online programs and courses, and working with organizations specializing in mood and addiction to implement nutritional support.
Having a long personal and family history of mental health and addiction, I've been passionate about using my expertise in nutrition to support both. I have found both personally and professionally that nutrition is one of the most overlooked areas when it comes to how we feel, how we drink, and so much more.
Now, I live a more peaceful, healing life in Central California and enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog (Pearl), reading the newest personal development books, and painting (a la Bob Ross). I absolutely love learning-- so you can often find me taking a workshop, practicing a new skill, and honing in new tools for managing my ADHD.

"Working with Dr. Brooke is truly personalized. She takes into account your whole story - how you got here, where you're going, and what is important to you so that she can tailor a plan to your unique needs. She is thorough with her assessments and makes personalized plans which I highly value, being a healthcare professional myself. I have seen so many functional/integrative health practitioners giving the same protocols to everyone-- but not with Dr. Brooke! I love working with her!"Â

"I found Dr. Brooke a few years ago when I realized it was time to take control of my health and that alcohol no longer had a place in my journey. The road to sobriety wasn’t always a straight path, but having Dr. Brooke by my side, with her non-judgmental approach, made all the difference. We addressed my other chronic health issues, and together we have discovered effective ways for me to care for myself. Dr. Brooke has become an instrumental part of my healthcare team, and I am truly grateful for her support."Â
